在研究生院、学生处、团委、校研究生会、各院研究生会以及博士生协会的大力支持下，西安交通大学首届“创源”学术论坛第二期活动于10月18号晚7点在科学馆101拉开帷幕。出席的领导有材料学院院长孙军教授、副院长潘希德教授和丁向东副教授，并由孙军教授和任晓兵教授给大家带来了两场精彩的学术报告。
任晓兵教授给大家带来的报告是《大学生，研究生——你为将来做好准备了吗？》。其报告主要包括五个部分的内容:“Basic law of human society——the “10-90”law ;The progress curve of a human ; How to prepare for the future :elements of success :Conclusion ;Preliminary experimental results.
What do you crave for in the long run?——Success(in terms of either academic , financial, political , or other kind ); Be better than average; Be the same as others; Be inferior to others.
Key differences between a biological system and a physical (particle) system and consequence.
“10 -90” rule on Knowledge ,Fortune ,Administrative power ,change ( for student).
The progress curve of a human .
Important information : Exponential progress(eg. Looking back to the primary courses) ；Importance of early stage (young age) ,example bird’s hatching behavior ;It is relatively easy to change the situation at early stage (turtle and rabbit) ;But it is very hard to change the situation at late age .
Elements of success : Strong incentive ( will power and interest) , a clear goal is essential .( eg. Scientist ,CEO in a company , Chief ,etc.. )
Strategy-analyze what is the required ability for your goal ,and set a short and a long-term plan to improve your ability ; Tactics, find the best way to fulfill the requirement .
Psychology of success : If you want to be a rich man ,behave as a rich man; If you want to be a leader, behave as a leader ; If you want to be a good scientist ,behave as a scientist .
You should have curiosity , ask why for everything ;Logic; Knowledge and English.”
任晓兵教授通过以上讲述，让大家明白怎么为自己做一个学习和职业规划。在讲座结束时，来自MMRC的范根莲同学用自己的亲身体会证明了任晓兵教授的观点，使会场的气氛达到了高潮。
